Art for a Cause

Betty Pinkerton and Nancy Parrish, both who passed away from a rare brain cancer known as glioblastoma, after years of suffering with MS.

Betty Pinkerton, mother of Denise Pinkerton, and Nancy Parrish, both who passed away from a rare brain cancer known as Glioblastoma after years of suffering with MS.

The grey and orange ribbons have become powerful symbols of hope for suffers of GBM and MS respectively. They’re meant to honor the memories of those lost to those diseases, and to support the progress we are making for a potential cure. No one should have to ever watch their family members in pain. Denise has been making these ribbons to commemorate the loss of her mother, and Betty’s friend Nancy, losses that have been truly impactful on her life. Ten percent of the sales of these ribbons is directly donated to the research of those diseases. If you would like a custom ribbon in any other color, please contact her here. Each ribbon is $25 dollars, but there is a discount on bulk orders for organizations. They can be shipped any where in the world.
